Which would be a better candidate for gene therapy?

a genetic disorder which results from the lack of a blood enzyme that is secreted by bone marrow cells

or

a disease that occurs when nerve cells are unable to produce a particular enzyme

and why?

    In my personal opinion, it would be better to choose the Nerve Cells option.

    In this situation, a protein in the form of an enzyme is being produced. So, if you applied gene therapy, perhaps this might altar the protein that is being manufactured or perhaps stop it altogether.

    The Bone Marrow experiment would be much more difficult to do and wouldn’t produce better results when compared to the Nerve Cell experiment.
